How to Open & Use Your Templates

📁 What File Types You'll Get

Your templates are delivered as Microsoft Office files:

• .docx — Microsoft Word (for Safety Programs, JHAs, Admin Forms)
• .xlsx — Microsoft Excel (for Inspection Forms, Trackers, Permits)
• .pptx — Microsoft PowerPoint (for Toolbox Talk presentations)

💻 Opening on a Computer (Windows or Mac)

Option 1: Microsoft Office (best)

If you have Microsoft Word, Excel, or PowerPoint installed, just double-click the file. It will open and be fully editable.

Option 2: Free alternatives (no Office installed)

If you don't have Microsoft Office, use one of these free options:

• Google Docs / Sheets / Slides (easiest) — Go to drive.google.com, upload the file, then double-click to open. Works in any browser.
• LibreOffice — Free desktop app at libreoffice.org. Opens all Office formats.
• Office.com Free — Upload to office.com and open in the browser version of Word/Excel/PowerPoint.

📱 Opening on a Phone or Tablet

You'll need an app to open Office files on mobile:

• Microsoft Office app — Free, available on iPhone and Android.
• Google Docs / Sheets / Slides apps — Free on both iOS and Android.

Important: You can't edit these files directly on phone without one of the apps above. We recommend downloading on a computer first for best results.

🗜️ Downloaded a ZIP File?

Bundles come as a ZIP file (.zip). You need to unzip it first:

• Windows: Right-click the ZIP → "Extract All" → pick a folder → Extract.
• Mac: Double-click the ZIP file — it will automatically unzip to a folder next to it.
• Phone: Use a free app like Zip Browser (iOS) or RAR (Android).

Once unzipped, the individual .docx, .xlsx, and .pptx files are inside the folder.

✏️ Editing the Template

1. Open the file in Word, Excel, or PowerPoint (or Google equivalent).
2. Look for yellow highlighted text or [brackets] — those are spots to replace with your company info.
3. Add your company logo where indicated.
4. Save the file (use "Save As" to keep the original template unchanged).
5. Print, email, or upload to your company's document system.

💾 Where to Find Your Download

After buying on Etsy, your files are available in 3 places:

1. Right after purchase — Click "Download Files" on the order confirmation page.
2. Your Etsy account — Go to etsy.com/your/purchases, find the order, click "Download Files".
3. Confirmation email — Look for an email from Etsy with "Download Your Files" link.
